Najat Rizk


Partner Najat Rizk is at the forefront of programming and production in the Arab World.  After serving as a Channel Manager for Orbit Satellite Channel, Al Thaniya television and Head of Operations (Italy) LBC SAT, she joined Firehorse Films in 1999.  Under her leadership, Firehorse was voted the second fastest growing company in Lebanon in 2010, in a Harvard Business School programme and Najat won acclaim as the second most successful CEO in Lebanon.  She is a hands-on CEO, renowned for her focus and care in the crafting and management of the company’s productions.  With 25 years of experience in the television industry, Najat has produced a wide range of programming and is the company’s primary Television Consultant.  Firehorse’s tagline “Making Screens Worth Watching”, attests to her desire and commitment to produce knowledge-based and innovative media, which engages audiences everywhere.

Mouna Mounayer


As Chief Creative Office and Founding Partner, Mouna has penned many of the formats and programmes in the Firehorse stable and has written and directed many of its programs in both the television and corporate genres.  With a passion for raising the bar in the Arab television industry, Mouna concentrates her efforts and that of the Firehorse team in creating innovative content driven programming.  Mouna is also in charge of the organisation and monetisation of the Firehorse Footage Archive. Mouna is a jury member for the International Emmy Awards and The Beirut International Film Festival.  Mouna penned her company’s slogan; ‘Making Screens Worth Watching’ to underline the importance to her of creating intelligent as well as entertaining content reflected in her working today as a content architect for both traditional and digital media.

Joseph Saliba

Business Development Manager

Joseph Saliba’s wide base of understanding from the minutiae of the production industry to client management and market trends have made him one of the pillars the Business Development team at Firehorse. His organisational skills and natural positivity are key to the everyday working relationships between the company and its clients.

Joseph Saliba has a BA in Business Management from Univerité Saint Joseph.  He graduated with honours in 2006 with a Masters in Audio-Visual Production from Alba (Lebanon) and INA (France) and has more than 3 years of experience in Sales and Accounting.  In 2009 Joseph graduated with honours with an MBA in Communication, Media and Events at the Ecole Superieur de Gestion.  He is also fluent in three languages: Arabic, French and English.

Souzie Khoury Hanna

Creative Writer

Since 2007, Souzie Khoury has worked with Firehorse as a Researcher\Writer\Reporter.  She has a BA in Written Press and graduated in 2012 with a Master’s Degree in Information and Communication from the Lebanese University.  Souzie also won, in 2012, the Jibran Tweiny award for academic excellence.

Souzie has worked as a writer on many programmes and talk shows during her tenure at Firehorse including; five seasons of the number one Pan Arab talk show ‘Moutheer Lil Jadal’ presented by Fadila Souissi for Abu Dhabi Television; ‘Hiwar el Dar’, a presenter-led studio based show for Emirates Channel and ‘Dr. Chef’, a lifestyle show for MBC.

In 2012 Souzie was promoted to Creative Writer where she is lead developer on new ideas for political, social, documentary and family shows.

Cynthia Naoufal

Progress Manager

Cynthia has worked with Firehorse since 2008 as part of the Production Management and Progress Team.  She graduated in 2007 from Université Saint Joseph (USJ) with a BA in Economics.

Cynthia works on the production management and financial progress of many different genres of programming including: Talk Shows, Political & Current Affairs programmes, Documentaries, Factual Entertainment and Corporate Films.

Sylvana Khabbaz

Archive Manager & Services Department

Sylvana is the Firehorse Archive and Services Department Manager.  She manages and oversees all of the company’s visual, musical and document assets as well as organises all traffic, digitisation, storage as well as dissemination of products to clients across all platforms.  Sylvana joined Firehorse in 2006 where she began work as the Office Manager and PA for CEO Najat Rizk and CCO Mouna Mounayer.  In 2009 she was promoted and became the Archive & Services Department Manager.

Varoujian Elmadjian

Office Coordinator

Varoujan has been an Office Coordinator, an Administrator and a Personal Assistant of the management team at FIREHORSE since 2010. Varoujan began his career at his family’s business enterprise. In 2005, he left to join the FIREHORSE team as a Dispatcher. Afterwards, he was promoted to his current position by a recommendation from the management. In 2011, he was assigned to administer the office needs of the two sister companies, namely Vertical Media Services and Comtrax Solutions. Varoujan holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from Haigazian University in Beirut. Three things that inspire Varoujan are as follows: Theology, Philosophy and Classical Music.
